What I See…
The loosening of his collar when the sun goes down. The way you disappear together for ten minutes because you need to be alone. Someone crying, someone laughing, someone kissing someone they haven’t seen in twenty years.
I adore photographing the beautiful parts of the wedding.
But I like what happens around them even more.
The intimacy, the energy, the softness and the sacred moments – the feeling of being fully alive and gathered together.

This bride and groom experienced a family tragedy on the morning of their wedding; which resulted in an emotional day which definitely was not planned or run to schedule, and a somewhat more sombre occasion. But, we did as the British do. We stayed calm, and carried on. And somehow, still; the day was beautiful.
